Data show that in the first four months of 2023, Indonesia's exports of natural rubber (excluding compound rubber) totaled 622,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 16%. Among them, the total export of standard rubber was 609,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 16%; the export of smoked sheet rubber was 12,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 26%; the export of latex was 2,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 160%.
From January to April, the total export of natural rubber to China was 103,000 tons, an increase of 66% year-on-year; the total export of mixed rubber to China was 8,000 tons, an increase of 3.9% year-on-year.
On the whole, Indonesia exported 630,000 tons of natural rubber and mixed rubber in the first four months, a year-on-year decrease of 16%; the total exports to China were 111,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 59%.
