According to the agreement, Solvay will provide Guangxi Chlor-Alkali with its proprietary hydrogen peroxide ultra-large-scale high-productivity process technology, including a complete set of dedicated process design solutions, operational technical guidance and a series of supporting services, so as to ensure that this brand new Large-scale production plants realize comprehensive process optimization and safe and reliable operation. In addition, Solvay will also provide Guangxi Chlor-Alkali with proprietary
2-Amylanthraquinone (AQ). In the chemical process of Solvay hydrogen peroxide large-scale plant technology, this key chemical helps to improve production efficiency and environmental performance.
In addition, the agreement further stipulates that Solvay will undertake the offtake of hydrogen peroxide after the commissioning of this large-scale plant. This move will further promote the strategic development of Solvay’s hydrogen peroxide business in China, especially in South China.
