The new production base planned by Sika is located in Zhejiang Dushan Port Economic Development Zone, with a total investment of about 100 million US dollars. After completion, it will become Sika China’s largest production base in China. At the same time, the new production base will introduce Sika’s advanced product lines and production technology, and the production capacity of the first phase of construction will reach nearly 100,000 tons. Construction is scheduled to begin in late 2023 and be operational by the end of 2025.
The Sika products produced by the new production base will cover products and technologies such as fireproof coatings, silicone adhesives, floor coatings, adhesives and waterproof materials, which can be applied to clean energy including photovoltaics, wind power, nuclear power, new energy vehicles and green and low-energy vehicles. Carbon construction and other fields.
At the same time, the new production base will also become an important engine to help Sika realize its sustainable development strategy. The production base will be constructed in strict accordance with international green building standards, and will achieve green and low-carbon operation in future production and operation.
