MacLean visited Xu Feng, member of the Standing Committee of Wuxi Municipal Party Committee of Jiangsu Province and Secretary of Jiangyin Municipal Party Committee. This is the first visit to China by CEO Calum MacLean since Envalior officially announced its establishment on April 3.
During the meeting, MacLean briefly introduced Envalior’s business development plan in Jiangyin. He said: “We expect to add a brand new production line in August this year, which will add many advanced equipment, and we also look forward to reaching a more in-depth cooperation with Jiangyin in the future.”

Envalior Jiangyin Production Base, the former DSM Engineering Materials Jiangyin Production Base was established in Jiangyin High-tech Zone in 1995, and has now become an important link in Envalior’s global supply chain.
On February 24, 2022, DSM announced on its official website in China that DSM Engineering Materials (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., located in Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province, will put into operation a new blending production line. The production line started construction in 2022 and is expected to be completed in 2023. The new production line will help DSM meet the growing demand for high-performance polymers in various end applications, especially electric vehicles, electrical systems, and electronic equipment, and promote the transition to a low-carbon circular economy.
