Recently, Röhm GmbH) announced that it has obtained the ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) PLUS certification. The certification allows the company to certify that the processed materials come from sustainable sources.
Röhm plans to launch the first ISCC under the proTerra brand family in 2023 PLUS certified PLEXIGLAS® molding compounds and MERACRYL® monomers. Other Rohm factories will also be certified.
ROHM Recyclable Product Portfolio
Röhm's current product portfolio includes sustainable products such as PLEXIGLAS® proTerra black, transparent and white solid panels for trade fair and shop architecture, furniture and interior design, with recycled PLEXIGLAS® polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) content up to 90%.
DEGAROUTE® proTerra adhesive for road markings, containing 30% recycled PMMA;
The DEGARAN® proTerras binder for industrial coatings, containing 35% recycled PMMA, is also a sustainable product from Röhm.
In addition, Röhm produces PLEXIGLAS® proTerra multilayer and corrugated sheets for roofs, conservatories and carports, which are made of more than 50% recycled acrylic glass.
