In the first four months the profit of non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry fell by 55.1% year-on-year

According to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to April 2023, the non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry realized operating income of 2,359.98 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 0.6%; operating costs of 2,245.10 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.9%; total profit of 493.0 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 55.1%.

From January to April, the non-ferrous metal mining and dressing industry realized operating income of 107.97 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.0%; operating costs were 70.38 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1.0%; total profits were 24.83 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.7%.
