According to the monitoring of the Department of Commerce of Henan Province, the price of coal in the province fell slightly in April. In April, the average price of coal in the province was 845.2 yuan/ton, a decrease of 4% from the previous month, of which the price of steam coal rose by 1.8% from the previous month, and the prices of coking coal and anthracite washed lump coal fell by 7% from the previous month , 5.1%. In April, due to poor downstream demand and strong wait-and-see sentiment, the price of coking coal dropped significantly. In terms of production areas, coal mines have resumed production, the market transaction atmosphere is average, downstream residents have less demand for electricity, and power plants are not highly motivated to purchase. It is expected that coal prices will fluctuate within a narrow range in the near future.
