On May 23, the World Internet Conference 2023 Leading Scientific and Technological Achievements and Practical Cases of "Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace" were launched in Beijing.
As two important events of the Wuzhen Summit of the World Internet Conference, Liang Hao, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the World Internet Conference, said that this year will usher in the tenth year of the Wuzhen Summit of the World Internet Conference. Distinguish three different types of achievements: basic research, key technologies, and engineering research and development. The scope of solicitation of practical cases includes global practices in five major areas: "network infrastructure construction", "online cultural exchange", "digital economy innovation and development", "network security assurance" and "international governance of cyberspace".
According to the secretariat of the World Internet Conference, the 2023 leading scientific and technological achievements and practical case activities will be open to government departments, international organizations, social groups, scientific research institutions, universities, technical communities, enterprises, innovation teams and other innovative main body. The solicitation activity will end on June 21. Afterwards, internationally renowned experts will form a review committee to select leading scientific and technological achievements and the list included in "The Charm of Science and Technology" in accordance with the principles of fairness, impartiality, objectivity and authority; "Case Collection" list. Selected individuals and units will be invited to participate in the 2023 World Internet Leading Scientific and Technological Achievement Exhibition and Practice Case Release Exhibition, and conduct diversified, multi-angle, and all-round publicity through media platforms such as the official website of the World Internet Conference.
The application deadline is 24:00 on June 21, 2023, Beijing time.
