Since May, the power consumption load in the southern region has continued to rise. "Currently, the highest load in Shenzhen has exceeded 19 million kilowatts, the highest since this year, an increase of 8.3% compared with the same period last year." Cheng Renli, deputy general manager of the power dispatching control center of Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau of China Southern Power Grid, said that since mid-May, Shenzhen The demand for electricity has increased significantly.
In Guangdong, electricity load is greatly affected by temperature. According to the analysis, when the maximum temperature is higher than 23°C, the cooling load begins to appear. When the maximum temperature is in the range of 23°C to 30°C, the system load will increase by 1 million to 3 million kilowatts for every 1°C increase in temperature, and the maximum temperature is between 30°C and When the temperature is above, the system load will increase by 3 million to 4.5 million kilowatts for every 1 °C increase in temperature. As the temperature rises, the demand for electricity in Guangdong is increasing significantly, which will drive the electricity load in Guangdong and even the entire southern region to continue to rise.
In Hainan, affected by various factors such as the continued recovery of the economy, the commissioning of key industrial projects, and the increase in the charging load of electric vehicles, the peak of electricity consumption has also arrived ahead of schedule. Since the beginning of this year, the Hainan power grid's unified load has reached four new highs, reaching a maximum of 6.843 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 5.7%.
At present, China Southern Power Grid has stepped up cross-provincial power mutual aid, completed the overhaul of all important power transmission channels, and fully prepared for the peak power consumption in summer.
It is reported that China Southern Power Grid has signed an AI cooperation memorandum with Alibaba Cloud, Baidu Smart Cloud, and Huawei to explore the optimal solution of "power + computing power" to promote the construction of digital power grids and further improve the accuracy of power load forecasting.
