In the second week of May coal market prices in Fujian Province fell within a narrow range

According to the monitoring data of the important means of production monitoring system of the Ministry of Commerce, this week (May 8-14, 2023) the coal market price of the monitoring sample enterprises in Fujian Province averaged 1510.83 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.2%. Among them, the market price of anthracite was 1337.50 yuan/ton, down 0.2% from the previous month; the market price of bituminous coal was 1597.50 yuan/ton, down 0.2% from the previous month. On the whole, the coal market prices of the sample companies monitored in Fujian Province fell within a narrow range this week. At present, the operation of coal mines is relatively normal, the overall supply is relatively loose, and the downstream purchases are more on-demand, and the wait-and-see atmosphere is strong. It is expected that the coal market price in Fujian Province will be adjusted steadily due to the influence of changes in supply and demand in the later period.
