In the first quarter a total of 15.894 million tons of thermal coal were transferred to thermal power plants in Hubei Province

Data from the Development and Reform Commission of Hubei Province show that in March, affected by the weather, the output of hydropower and new energy sources was insufficient. The month reached 5.323 million tons of thermal coal, an increase of 1.434 million tons year-on-year, an increase of 36.9%; the consumption of thermal coal was 5.574 million tons, an increase of 1.404 million tons, an increase of 33.7%; the inventory at the end of the month was 4.381 million tons, a decrease of 76,000 tons.

From January to March, the province's unified thermal power plants transferred 15.894 million tons of thermal coal, an increase of 1.832 million tons or 13.0% year-on-year; the consumption of thermal coal was 16.885 million tons, an increase of 1.547 million tons or 10.1%.
