In the first week of May the coal market price in Fujian Province went down steadily

According to the monitoring data of the important means of production monitoring system of the Ministry of Commerce, the coal market price of the monitoring sample enterprises in Fujian Province this week (May 1-7, 2023) averaged 1513.94 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.4%. Among them, the market price of anthracite was 1340.83 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 1.9%; the market price of bituminous coal was 1600.50 yuan/ton, a month-on-month increase of 0.2%. On the whole, the coal market prices of the monitoring sample enterprises in Fujian Province have been steady and downward this week. At present, coal production and supply are relatively stable, but the downstream demand has weakened, and most of the purchases are based on demand, and the market trading atmosphere is relatively general. It is expected that the coal market price in Fujian Province will be adjusted steadily due to the influence of changes in supply and demand in the later period.
