The “200,000 tons/year hexamethylenediamine project” in the first phase of Ascend’s Lianyungang Xuwei New District production base is a starting project with an investment of approximately 1.29 billion yuan. After the project is put into operation, Ascend’s global hexamethylenediamine production capacity will increase by about 50% . After completion, it will provide raw materials for Ascend’s global polyamide production and supply to regional customers at the same time.
The “200,000 tons/year hexamethylenediamine project” is Ascend’s first chemical production base outside the United States, and it is also the company’s largest investment outside the United States to date. A nylon resin industrial chain will be built in Xuwei New District to further extend the industrial chain of Lianyungang Petrochemical Industrial Base.
