Recently, the Huafeng Biodegradable New Materials Project located in Huafeng (Qidong) Industrial Park has completed company registration and feasibility study preparation, and the preliminary work of related pilot projects has been started.
It is reported that on the afternoon of March 18, 2020, the signing ceremony of the Huafeng Biodegradable New Materials Integration Project with a total investment of 10 billion yuan was held in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. Witnessed by Nantong Mayor Wang Hui, Qidong Municipal Party Committee Secretary Wang Xiaobin, Huafon Group Chairman You Xiaoping, Chairman You Feiyu and other government and enterprise leaders, Huafon Group Co., Ltd. and Qidong Municipal Government signed a cooperation agreement.
This degradable new material integration project is the rearrangement of Huafeng Group’s new material industry strategy of “base, integration, recycling, and cleanliness”, including an annual output of 300,000 tons of polyadipate/butylene terephthalate. ester (PBAT), 300,000 tons of polycarbonate cyclocaprolactone (PCHC) and related basic raw materials, logistics and warehousing supporting projects.
The project is located in the Qidong Base of Huafon Group covering an area of 3 square kilometers and is located in the New Materials Industrial Park of Lusigang Economic Development Zone, Qidong City, Jiangsu Province. The base mainly invests in superfiber integration projects and degradable new material integration projects. Since the launch of the superfiber integration project in 2014, the current superfiber production capacity has reached 100 million meters.
It is understood that the first draft of the feasibility study report and various energy assessment, environmental assessment, safety assessment and other reports for Ruixun Biological PTMEG production project, which is the first phase of the Qidong Huafeng New Materials Industrial Park, has been completed, and the process design has also been completed. .

Jiangsu Huafeng Ruixun Biomaterials Co., Ltd. plans to invest in the construction of a BioPTMEG (polytetramethylene glycol ether) project with an annual output of 500,000 tons in the Tongzhou Bay Green Chemical Development Zone (Lvsigang).
