On November 21, the first domestic new polyurethane pavement structure test section was successfully implemented in the Yanwei reconstruction and expansion project of Shandong Hi-Speed Group, marking a new breakthrough in polyurethane pavement research technology and laying the foundation for the Yanwei reconstruction and expansion project. At the end of the year, the main line was completed and added to the splendor.
The first new polyurethane pavement structure test section is located in the F ramp distribution lane of Mouping Interchange in the Yanwei reconstruction and expansion project of Shandong Expressway. It is 240 meters long and uses about 300 tons of polyurethane mixture. In order to ensure the smooth application of the test section, the Construction Management Group jointly carried out in-depth technical discussions and on-site surveys with R&D, design, construction, supervision, testing, material supply and other units to overcome problems such as poor bonding of the lower bearing layer and harsh construction conditions. . The new polyurethane pavement structure adopts cold mix and cold paving technology, and its carbon emissions are only 1% of hot mix asphalt mixture. Its high temperature rutting resistance can be increased by about 10 times, and its fatigue resistance can be improved by about 2 times. The smooth implementation of this test section has effectively implemented the construction concept of “green, low-carbon, high-quality and high-quality”.
