The whole process of the project was completed, and the trial run of one-time feeding was successful!
It is reported that the project will start construction on July 2, 2021, mechanically complete on June 30, 2022, be handed in smoothly on July 30, 2022, and produce qualified products on April 6, 2023. It will be wonderful in just 20 months debut.
“On March 25th, the commissioning test started, and on April 6th, the whole process was opened up to produce qualified products. It is understood that after the project is put into operation, the BDO output of Meike Chemical Industrial Park will reach 400,000 tons per year. In 2023, the total global BDO production capacity will exceed 5.7 million tons per year, and the production routes include the Reppe method, butadiene/acetic acid method, propylene oxide method, and n-butane/maleic anhydride method. At present, the total production capacity of BDO announced to be under construction in China exceeds 25 million tons per year, and some of them may be difficult to implement. It is estimated that China’s BDO production capacity will exceed 6.5 million tons per year in 2025, and BDO cost control and downstream industrial chain planning will become the key to competition.
