(Junchen Xinke) The 500,000-ton/year styrene industry chain integration technical transformation project has completed the smooth start-up of the raw material pretreatment unit (equivalent to a standard ethylene 150,000-ton/year device).
The raw material pretreatment unit uses naphtha, n-butane and propane as raw materials to produce mixed carbon dioxide, which is used as raw material for the downstream styrene plant. The raw material pretreatment unit adopts Wison’s reaction reformer technology and pre-dethanization and pre-hydrogenation technology, which is the first time that Wison’s ethylene technology is applied to a new ethylene project. At the same time, Wison provides engineering design and procurement support for this project, and EPC turnkey service for reaction heating furnace area.
The device was officially put into propane raw material at 9:58 am on April 9, 2023, and produced qualified mixed carbon dioxide products at 18:38 pm on April 11 (ethylene purity: greater than 85
wt%), the one-time start-up was successful, realizing the first breakthrough of Wison ethylene technology in the new project, and also realized the reasonable connection between Wison ethylene technology and Junchen Xinke’s new styrene plant and the original old plant, which provided the company with The other ethylene projects that have followed have been assisted, which once again proves the reliability, economy and safety of Wison’s ethylene technology.
