Among them, the product quality of 1-hexene has reached the domestic industry standard; 1-octene is the first in China. There is no production device in China before, and all rely on imports. The quality of the imported samples for this benchmarking has reached the standard, marking the successful start-up of the α-olefin industrial test device independently developed by the company.
It is understood that α-olefin is a key raw material that restricts my country's polyolefin elastomer (POE), high-end polyolefin and high-end lubricant industries. In addition to importing a large amount of α-olefins, my country also imports a large amount of its derivatives every year. The technological breakthrough of 1-octene has created conditions for the high-quality development of domestic new polymer materials.
Satellite Chemical said that the company's self-developed α-olefin technology is also a key link in the company's establishment of an integrated industrial chain of ethane, ethylene, α-olefins, and high-end new materials. After the successful start-up, the company will accelerate the construction of industrialization projects such as α-olefin, POE and high-end polyolefin, and accelerate the transformation and upgrading of Satellite Chemical to a low-carbon chemical new material technology company.
It is understood that the 1,000 tons/year α-olefin industrial test device project is located in the petrochemical industry base of the National East, Central and West Regional Cooperation Demonstration Zone (Lianyungang Xuwei New District) in Jiangsu Province. The project investment is 30 million yuan, and the construction content includes a new 1,000 tons/year α-olefin pilot plant, the products include 700 tons of 1-octene and 300 tons of 1-hexene per year.
