In 2021, my country’s polymer material sales reached 39.87 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 7.6%.

Modified plastics are a segmented product of polymer materials. Modified plastics are widely used in fields such as new energy, communication equipment, and household appliances due to their advantages such as heat resistance, flame retardancy, impact resistance, and high strength. In recent years, driven by market demand, the output of modified plastics in my country has continued to increase. In 2021, my country’s modified plastic output reached 26.515 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 16.2%.

Industry analysts said that driven by positive factors such as rapid economic development and national policy support, the prosperity of my country’s new materials industry continues to increase , polymer materials, as an important segment of new materials, have broad development prospects driven by market demand. At present, my country’s high-end polymer materials market is in short supply, and the industry still has huge development potential.
