On April 12, the 300,000 tons/year BDO (1,4 butanediol) circulating water station of Inner Mongolia Sanwei New Materials Co., Ltd. was constructed by the Northwest Branch of China Chemical Engineering Eleventh Construction Co., Ltd. The pouring and capping work of the cooling tower has been successfully completed, marking the completion of an important stage of the main project of the project.
It is understood that the construction of the main structure of the 300,000-ton/year BDO (1,4-butanediol) cooling tower was officially launched in August 2022. It took 278 days. With the joint efforts of all the staff of the project department, the 300,000-ton cooling tower was completed as scheduled. / year BDO (1,4 butanediol) cooling tower main structure construction task.
The 300,000 tons/year BDO (1,4 butanediol) cooling tower project is an important node of the whole project and the key to the success of the project construction. The capping of the pouring marks that the construction of 300,000 tons/year BDO (1,4 butanediol) has entered a new construction stage.
Project Overview
The BDO integration project of Inner Mongolia Sanwei New Materials Co., Ltd. is expected to have a total investment of 13 billion yuan. The BDO integration project produces BDO through the coal-calcium carbide-acetylene-1,4-butanediol industrial chain, and further develops downstream to produce degradable plastic PBAT and high-end polyether material PTMEG.
In the first phase of the project, 300,000 tons/year of 1,4 butanediol (BDO), 100,000 tons/year of degradable plastic PBAT, 60,000 tons/year of high-end polyether material PTMEG, 600,000 tons/year of formaldehyde plant, and supporting 36 10,000 tons/year acetylene raw material (calcium carbide) combined plant.
On March 13, 2022, the BDO integration project (Phase I) of Inner Mongolia Sunway New Materials Co., Ltd. (abbreviation: Inner Mongolia Sunway), a subsidiary of Sunway, held a groundbreaking ceremony in the Low Carbon Industrial Park of Wuhai Economic and Technological Development Zone, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
