Recently, Inner Mongolia Sanwei New Materials Co., Ltd. has stepped up the construction of the BDO integration project and made every effort to ensure that the BDO device will be put into operation in August this year.
It is reported that the total investment of the project is 13 billion yuan. It is located in the low-carbon industrial park of Wuhai High-tech Industrial Development Zone. The project plans to build an integrated project of 900,000 tons/year of BDO and degradable plastics. The company’s BDO integration project produces BDO through the coal-calcium carbide-acetylene-1,4-butanediol industrial chain, and further develops downstream to produce degradable plastic PBAT and high-end polyether material PTMEG. In the first phase of the project, 300,000 tons/year of 1,4 butanediol (BDO), 100,000 tons/year of degradable plastic PBAT, 60,000 tons/year of high-end polyether material PTMEG, 600,000 tons/year of formaldehyde plant, and supporting 36 10,000 tons/year acetylene raw material (calcium carbide) combined plant.
Since the start of construction in March 2022, the project has kept the construction progress unrelenting. At the site, the overall project has begun to take shape, construction vehicles are shuttled, various reaction device towers have arrived at the site, and the staff is advancing the work in an orderly manner, and the scene is full of enthusiasm.
On April 12, the pouring and capping work of the cooling tower of the circulating water station of the project was successfully completed, marking the completion of an important stage of the main project of the project.
A few days ago, the power station of the project was equipped with two 350t/h ultra-high pressure circulating fluidized bed boilers for steam supply, heat supply, power generation and other links in the factory area. With the efforts and witnesses of all parties, the water pressure test of boiler 1# was successfully completed .
