Data shows that in the first quarter of 2023, Indonesia's exports of natural rubber (excluding compound rubber) totaled 491,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 9.1%. Among them, the total export of standard rubber was 480,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 8.7%; the export of smoked sheet rubber was 10,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 13%; the export of latex was 1,700 tons, a year-on-year increase of 193%.
From January to March, the total export of natural rubber to China was 87,000 tons, an increase of 81% year-on-year; the total export of mixed rubber to China was 6,000 tons, an increase of 11% year-on-year.
On the whole, Indonesia exported a total of 497,000 tons of natural rubber and mixed rubber in the first quarter, a year-on-year decrease of 8.9%; a total of 93,000 tons were exported to China, a year-on-year increase of 74%.
