Recently, the signing ceremony of Hewang New Energy's 10GW high-efficiency battery and 6GW ingot silicon wafer production base project was held in Huainan Guest House. Ren Zefeng, secretary of the Huainan Municipal Party Committee, Chu Yubao, chairman and president of Wuxi Hewang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Sun Lianghong, member of the Standing Committee of the Huainan Municipal Party Committee and executive deputy mayor, Ou Donglin, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and director of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee, attended the signing ceremony.
It is understood that Wuxi Hewang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is a technology-based enterprise focusing on the research and development, production and sales of photovoltaic cells. The total investment of the 10GW high-efficiency battery and 6GW ingot silicon wafer production base project signed this time is 5.04 billion yuan. Among them, the total investment of the 10GW high-efficiency battery project is 3.91 billion yuan, and the revenue after reaching production capacity is 10 billion yuan; the total investment of the 6GW ingot silicon wafer production project is 1.13 billion yuan, and the revenue after reaching production capacity is 3 billion yuan.
Ren Zefeng said that Huainan, as an important energy city in Anhui, is vigorously developing new energy industries such as photovoltaics in the process of transformation and development, and building a new comprehensive energy base in an all-round way, which is highly consistent with the development direction of the company. It is hoped that the two parties will further deepen the cooperation and work together to promote the early production and effectiveness of the project. The municipal party committee and the municipal government will do their best to ensure the work and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
