Among them, the average price of anthracite No. 2 washed lump coal was 830.16 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.7%, and a year-on-year decrease of 15.7%; the average price of steam coal with a calorific value of 5000-5500 kcal was 684.15 yuan/ton, a month-on-month increase of 1.4%, A year-on-year decrease of 8%; the average price of one-third of coking coal was 895.92 yuan/ton, a month-on-month increase of 1% and a year-on-year decrease of 15.3%.
The Department of Commerce of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region stated that due to the impact of large-scale high-temperature weather, the daily consumption of downstream power plants continued to be high, and the demand for thermal power grew rapidly. From the pit mouth to the port, the thermal coal market continues to strengthen, the inventory of power plants has fallen, and the demand has increased. The resumption of work and production of non-power-consuming enterprises has also increased energy consumption, which together promotes a month-on-month increase in coal prices. It is expected that the coal market will be stable in the near future, and prices will fluctuate.
