KRAIBURG TPE, a global manufacturer of thermoplastic elastomer products and customized solutions for numerous industries, offers THERMOLAST® H for animal medical device applications
HC/AP and HC/AD1/AP series compounds.
Pet lovers around the world have created a thriving market for pet care products and services. Due to increased awareness of animal welfare, animals are no longer treated as commodities.
As the number of chronic diseases in pets and livestock increases, so does the need for better veterinary care. Pet owners rely on veterinarians. They prescribe pets, advise on food and other supplies, and are at the heart of the pet care ecosystem.
To enable pets to recover, veterinary care relies on high-quality medical equipment such as cleaning brushes, catheters, GV dental kits (tooth extractions), wireless ultrasound equipment, collars for cats and dogs, and more. Advanced materials such as thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) used in them provide additional functions such as grip, anti-slip function, haptics, flexibility and in-mold bonding to various hard plastics.
KRAIBURG TPE offers THERMOLAST® H-Series solutions for healthcare and medical device applications. This family of compounds offers good compression set, resealability, soft hand, and low coefficient of friction, all while being cost-effective.
