Phase II 2.6 million tons coking polygeneration project is located in the Fine Chemical Industry Park of Shanghai Temple Economic Development Zone, Ordos, Inner Mongolia. Relying on the Shanghai Temple Mining Area, it belongs to the "pit mouth coking" and is an on-site transformation project of coal resources in the Shanghai Temple Energy and Chemical Industry Base. , responsible for the important function of digesting the self-produced coal in the Shanghai Miao Mine Area to the maximum; it is the key support for building a circular industrial chain and building a first-class fine chemical park.
The total investment of the project is 10.773 billion yuan, of which the total investment of the 2.6 million-ton coking project currently under construction is 4 billion yuan. It is planned to start trial production of the first two coke ovens in August 2023, which will be contracted by MCC EPC. In addition, based on the three product chains of coke oven gas, crude benzene, and tar, the total investment of the extended chain replenishment project is 6.773 billion yuan. After the coking polygeneration project is completed, 3.9 million tons of coke, 200,000 tons of LNG, 200,000 tons of ethanol, 60,000 tons of needle coke, 44,000 tons of heavy asphalt, 58,000 tons of coking oil, and 82,400 tons of nylon 66 will be formed.
