Shanxi Provincial Bureau of Statistics reported that from January to July, the added value of industries above designated size in the province increased by 3.8%. From the perspective of coal and non-coal, the added value of the coal industry increased by 2.4%, and that of the non-coal industry increased by 6.1%.
From the perspective of the three major categories, the added value of the mining industry increased by 2.1%, the manufacturing industry increased by 7.6%, and the electric heating, gas and water production and supply industry increased by 4.4%.
From the perspective of the industry, the new momentum of industry continues to grow. Among the industries above the designated size in the province, the added value of the manufacturing industry increased by 7.6%, of which the comprehensive utilization of waste resources increased by 62.4%, the new energy equipment manufacturing industry increased by 58.7%, and the food industry increased by 13.1%, all of which were faster than the growth rate of the province's industries above the designated size .
In terms of products, the output of major products maintained growth. Among the main industrial products above the designated size in the province, the output of raw coal, pig iron, steel, raw aluminum, power generation, photovoltaic cells, and unconventional natural gas continued to grow. Solid progress was made in energy supply guarantee. The province continued to increase production, and realized the continuous, safe and stable supply of coal, gas and electricity. The province's planned raw coal output was 787.094 million tons, an increase of 4.7%; the planned unconventional natural gas output increased by 6.5%; power generation increased by 6.6%, of which the electricity sent out increased by 17.8%.
From the perspective of supporting factors, electricity consumption and freight volume have grown rapidly. The electricity consumption of the whole province increased by 4.6%, of which industrial electricity consumption increased by 3.6%; road freight volume increased by 14.2%.
In July, the added value of industries above designated size in the province increased by 3.0%.
From January to July, the province's industrial producer prices fell by 7.7% (the national -3.2%). Among them, the coal mining and washing industry decreased by 9.8%, the petroleum, coal and other fuel processing industry decreased by 19.4%, the ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry decreased by 15.8%, and the electricity and heat production and supply industry remained flat year-on-year. Purchasing prices for industrial producers fell by 4.4% (National -3.5%).
In July, the ex-factory prices of industrial producers in the province fell by 12.9%.
