Solubility/Dilution
Desmodur ® BL3370 MPA can use esters, ketones and aromatic hydrocarbons such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, propylene glycol methyl ether acetic acidEster, acetone, butanone, methyl Isobutyl ketone, cyclohexanone, toluene, xylene, solvent naphtha 100, 150, 200S and theseA mixture of solvents. However, the stability of the resulting solution still needs to be tested. Aliphatic hydrocarbons are not suitable as solvents. Desmodur® BL3370MPA cannot be diluted below 40% solids. Long-term storage of low solid content solutions may cause turbidity and precipitation.
Compatibility
etc. When performing equivalent cross-linking reactions, Desmodur® BL 3370MPA is compatible with the following products: Desmophen® 651, 670, 680, 690, 800, 1100, 1300, RD181 , A160, A365, A450 and Desmophen® T1665. Always check the mixture for compatibility.

Desmodur ® BL3370 MPA is mixed with polyol to prepare light-resistant one-component polyurethane baking paint. This product is mainly used inHigh-grade industrial topcoat (can coating/coil coating) and automotive original basecoat. Desmodur® BL3370 MPA also availableAs an additive added to the traditional baking system to enhance its flexibility and adhesion.
Typical The baking conditions are as follows:
100°C 50 minutes
or 120°C 20 minutes
or 160°C 7 minutes
Yellowing may occur at 160 °C or above, mainly depends on the co-reactants used and baking time. When using coil coating", sufficient cross-linking is achieved at a maximum plate temperature (PMT) of approximately 216°C. It is not necessary to add a catalyst to Desmodur® BL3370 MPA.
Save
Desmodur ® BL3370 MPA should be stored in sealed containers. With proper storage conditions at room temperature, this product has a shelf life of at least 6 months.
