As a world-leading manufacturer of engineered materials, DOMO Chemical is honored to announce today that it has successfully held the groundbreaking ceremony for its new Haiyan plant in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, China. Its new Haiyan factory in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, China successfully held a groundbreaking ceremony. The new plant will produce TECHNYL® high-performance polyamide materials and is expected to be fully operational by the end of the first quarter of 2024. The new Haiyan factory has an investment of 14 million euros (100 million yuan), with a total area of over 40,000 square meters. It is a major investment for DOMO Chemicals in the Asian market.
Groundbreaking Ceremony of DOMO Chemical Sea Salt New Factory
DOMO Chemicals China established a nylon modification plant in Jiaxing in 2016. It has been active in the Chinese market for many years and continues to provide a variety of high-performance solutions for the nylon market. After the completion of the new Haiyan factory, the production capacity will be gradually expanded, and the total production capacity will reach 50,000 tons. The new factory will be equipped with the latest technology and equipment to meet the needs of customers, while also contributing to DOMO Chemical’s innovation and sustainable development goals. The new Haiyan plant will play a key role in DOMO Chemical’s strategy to increase its strength in the Asian market.
DOMO’s new factory is located in the Haiyan Economic Development Zone, an hour’s drive south of Shanghai. In addition to DOMO Chemicals, the Haiyan Economic Development Zone will also gather leading manufacturing industries such as electronics, new energy, new materials, and high-end equipment. In addition, the street it belongs to will also strive to become a high-level manufacturing base and a future hydrogen valley.
