On March 8, 2023, BASF Shanghai Coatings Co., Ltd. announced the completion of its new technology center building at Minhang Base. As an important part of the expansion project of the Minhang base, the opening of the technical center building marks another milestone in the development of BASF Shanghai Coatings Co., Ltd.’s Minhang base. It will provide Chinese automotive customers with better technologies, products and services with a new attitude.
The brand-new technology center building is equipped with advanced experimental facilities and experienced high-quality team, relying on “color + innovation studio”, can provide customers with solutions from color design, modeling and matching to product development and online , cooperate with customers to create high-quality colors, greatly shorten product development time, and improve overall work efficiency. The newly-built electrophoresis application technology center can help improve product technical capabilities and application engineering strength. It has two modules: electrophoresis application laboratory and electrophoresis small test factory, which can provide customers with comprehensive product performance approval, quality control, and process matching testing. And other services, and by simulating the customer’s painting site, assisting customers in adjusting and improving engineering processes and optimizing product application parameters.
