Huntsman's production sites in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, and Wilton, UK, received the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) for mass balance following audits by Bureau Veritas PLUS).
ISCC PLUS is a global sustainability certification system that tracks the quantity and sustainability characteristics of circular and/or bio-based ingredients in value chains, traceable through a mass balance approach based on verifiable bookkeeping.
After passing the ISCC PLUS certification, Huntsman can now provide its customers with MDI produced based on mass balance principles, which can help customers reduce the carbon footprint of their products.
