Data from the Statistics Bureau of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region show that from January to July, the output of major energy products of industries above designated size in the region maintained a growth trend, and the output ranked among the top in the country.
1. The output of raw coal ranks among the top in the country
From January to July, industrial enterprises above designated size in the region produced 704 million tons of raw coal, ranking second in the country, accounting for 26.4% of the national raw coal output; a year-on-year increase of 1.8%, driving the national raw coal output to increase by 0.5 percentage points.
Second, power generation ranks first in the country
From January to July, the power generation of industrial enterprises above designated size in the region was 411.72 billion kwh, ranking first in the country, accounting for 8.2% of the country's power generation; an increase of 11.9% year-on-year, 8.1 percentage points higher than the national growth rate. Among them, thermal power generation and wind power generation accounted for 9.2% and 15.1% of the country's total respectively, and their output both ranked first in the country.
