According to the monitoring data of the important means of production monitoring system of the Ministry of Commerce, the coal market price of the monitoring sample enterprises in Fujian Province this week (August 7-13, 2023) averaged 1461.78 yuan/ton, which was flat from the previous month. Among them, the market price of anthracite was 1228.35 yuan/ton, up 0.2% from the previous month; the market price of bituminous coal was 1578.50 yuan/ton, down 0.1% from the previous month. Overall, the coal market prices of the monitoring sample enterprises in Fujian Province are basically stable. Coal mines have been in normal production recently, and the overall supply is relatively stable. The rainy weather last week eased the high temperature, and the demand for thermal power has weakened. The downstream mostly purchases on demand. It is expected that the coal market price in Fujian Province will be adjusted steadily due to changes in supply and demand in the later period.
