In its third-phase project planning, it will build a downstream extension project of the propylene industry chain to produce new environmentally friendly materials such as acrylic acid, BA, NPG, and SAP. At the same time, it will use n-butane as raw material to produce maleic anhydride and BDO, and extend the production of PBAT, PBS, etc. Degradable plastics will seize the high ground for the development of the world's new environmental protection materials industry, strengthen the drive of the industrial chain, and contribute to the accelerated growth of Qingdao's high-end chemical emerging industries.
At present, the third phase of the project has completed project approval, energy assessment and approval, and is going through safety assessment, environmental assessment and other procedures. After the completion of the third phase of the project, it is estimated that the annual output value will exceed 50 billion yuan, forming a "C3+C4+photovoltaic+hydrogen" green low-carbon high-end chemical industry chain, and becoming the main force of the 100 billion-level advanced manufacturing industry chain of new materials in Dongjiakou Economic Zone.
