On the morning of February 18, the autonomous region held the first batch of major project commencement ceremony in 2023, and the cities and Ningdong base branch venues and the main venue of the autonomous region started video linkage.
Ningdong Base has arranged 185 construction projects throughout the year, with a total investment of 205.5 billion yuan, and an annual planned investment of 26.5 billion yuan, an increase of more than 10%. Among them, there are 161 industrial projects with an annual planned investment of 25.8 billion yuan. The first batch of 112 projects to start and resume work, with a total investment of 147.3 billion yuan, and an annual planned investment of 21.5 billion yuan, accounting for 81% of the annual planned total investment. Among them, 69 continued construction projects, with an annual planned investment of 17.3 billion yuan; new projects 43 projects, with an annual planned investment of 4.2 billion yuan; 9 major projects with an investment of over 10 billion yuan, with an annual planned investment of 11.7 billion yuan. Focus on the construction of 108,000 tons of differentiated spandex in South Korea’s Taekwang, 100,000 tons of EVA in Guoneng Ningmei, supporting raw materials for Taihe Spandex, conductive agent series products of Wuheng Technology, hydrogen production from renewable energy in Guoneng Green Hydrogen Energy, and Guanghui Ningdong Coal 31 industrial projects including storage and transportation bases.
Guoneng Ningmei 100,000 tons EVA project
On September 8, 2022, the 100,000 tons/year EVA project of Ningxia Coal Industry Co., Ltd. of the National Energy Group will accept the EIA documents.
Basic situation of the project
Project Name: National Energy Group Ningxia Coal Industry Co., Ltd. 100,000 tons/year EVA project.
Construction unit: National Energy Group Ningxia Coal Industry Co., Ltd.
Construction site: Area A of Coal Chemical Industry Park of Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industry Base.
Construction nature: newly built.
Construction content: including 100,000 tons/year EVA device and supporting public works, storage and transportation projects, auxiliary facilities, environmental protection projects, etc. Part of the public works of the project relies on the Ningxia Coal Olefin Phase II Project and the Coal-to-Liquid Project.
Operating time: 8000 hours of operating time per year.
Total investment for approval: 2.421 billion yuan.
Land occupation: 111,243m2 (100,960m2 newly added, 10,283m2 reused (remove the original temporary storage yard)), all located in the second-phase olefin plant area.
The new capacity of the whole factory: 60 people.
Planned start of production: December 2025.
Construction scale and product plan
The design scale of the EVA plant of this project is 100,000 tons per year, the annual operation time is 8000 hours, and the operation flexibility is 60-110%. The product plan includes 9 grades such as UL112 and UL218
EVA products. The product plan is shown in the table below.
Raw materials and technology
The main raw materials of this project are ethylene from the olefin phase II project and purchased vinyl acetate, and the auxiliary materials mainly include isobutene, n-butane, isoparaffin solvent oil and isododecane solvent.
This project intends to adopt ExxonMobil’s kettle process.
