Cai Rui clearly knows that success requires down-to-earth. In 2011, the company launched a 200,000-ton polyester filament project. He voluntarily applied to join. From equipment installation, commissioning, to product trial production, adjustment, and production, it took 6 months without a day off. "When I'm busy, it's common for me to not sleep well for two days and one night. Although it's hard work, I've gained a lot and I've grown very fast," Cai Rui said.
In the texturing workshop of Jiangsu Deli Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd., Cai Rui gently lifted a roll of spinning yarn, and took out one to show the reporter: If there is no reference object for comparison, this thin spinning yarn is almost invisible to the naked eye.
"This is one of the thinnest microfibers we have developed in China for mass production of monofilaments. The monofilament is only 0.2 denier (the density unit of man-made fibers), and the length of a single filament less than 1 kg can circle the earth for one week. , achieved a qualitative breakthrough in technology.” Cai Rui introduced that last year, on the basis of previous technology accumulation, he and his team intervened in the design and theoretical deduction of the spinneret, the key spinning equipment, and then adjusted the spinning temperature, cooling Conditions, oiling conditions and other process conditions were adjusted and optimized, and finally this high-end product was developed.
Up to now, 9 products including dumbbell-shaped flat fiber, multi-monomer copolymerized moisture-absorbing and quick-drying polyester filament, and highly hydrophilic antistatic polyester filament developed by Cai Rui have passed the appraisal of high-tech products in Jiangsu Province and obtained 6 invention patents and 8 utility model patents.
"Craft innovation requires not only rich experience, but also solid theoretical knowledge." Cai Rui said that most of his innovative ideas come from the vast sea of books.
Turning on Cai Rui's office computer, a folder with important information on the chemical fiber industry was placed in the most prominent position on the computer desktop. "This is a database I have accumulated for more than 10 years. I take it with me wherever I go, open and read two articles when I have nothing to do, and the inspiration for innovation is inspired inadvertently." Over the past 15 years, Cai Rui has persisted in learning and daring to innovate, and has gradually grown from a first-level assistant engineer to an innovative engineer.
