Beginning in 2021, Sinopec Beihua Research Institute, Zhongke Refining and Chemical, and Catalyst Company will form a joint research team to develop catalysts aimed at the problem of poor feeding or blockage in the production of impact copolymers using imported catalysts in polypropylene plants BSQ-1, assisting the device in the development and production of high-end grades.
In 2023, under the premise of stable production and guaranteed production, the research team conducted two trial trials of domestic catalysts to accumulate experience for catalyst improvement and finalization.
