In order to meet the growing needs of customers, Henkel not only promised to continue to invest in the Chinese market, but also further expanded the production capacity of the Shanghai Long factory.

With the launch of the new kettle, Henkel's total production capacity of PUR hot melt adhesives has also been further improved, which will bring innovative products with higher cost performance and stability to China and the entire Asian market.
It is reported that Henkel's world's largest adhesive factory - Long Factory, was completed in Shanghai in 2013. The factory's products mainly cover automobile manufacturing and various consumer goods, with an expected production capacity of 428,000 tons per year and a project investment of more than 400 million yuan.
PUR hot melt adhesive is mainly used in the field of furniture and building materials bonding. In May 2022, Henkel will upgrade PUR hot melt adhesive for the two mainstream furniture production processes of flat laying and covering. Solution, launched the excellent series of flat adhesive TECHNOMELT PUR 4506 and the new upgraded coating adhesive TECHNOMELT PUR 4916, to fully meet the needs of furniture and building materials customers in terms of adhesive performance, environmental protection and sustainability, quality improvement and efficiency enhancement, etc. The strength shows its courage and ingenuity in empowering green home production and "sticking" to create a green home era.
