BASF starts another project at Zhanjiang site

On August 17, the BASF Zhanjiang Integrated Basic Supporting Air Separation and Park Comprehensive Gas Supply Project undertaken by MCC 20 started construction.

BASF Zhanjiang Integrated Base is located in Donghai Island, Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, with a planned area of ​​about 9 square kilometers. It is BASF’s largest overseas investment project so far. After the base is completed, it will become BASF’s third largest integrated production base in the world. The construction content of the project includes a set of 66,000 standard cubic meters of air separation main equipment and supporting facilities, a 25,000 standard cubic meters per hour nitrogen compressor, and a 25-kilometer-long nitrogen interconnection pipeline spanning various complex geological conditions.
