TAKELAC? PUD is a water-based resin with excellent heat resistance, high-temperature gas barrier properties and friction resistance. As environmentally friendly products, they are widely used in paints and coatings, adhesives, binders, resin modifiers, sizing agents and textile processing. Demand for TAKELAC® PUD has grown in recent years, especially in Europe, as a barrier coating material for recyclable monomaterial food packaging, as the need for sustainable development has grown. As the demand for single-material packaging continues to grow, Mitsui Chemicals hopes to respond to this demand by actively strengthening its supply network.
