Yokohama Tire will launch the ultra-high-performance tire “ADVAN Sport EV” developed for new energy vehicles in China at the end of 2023. It is expected to provide consumers with tire products in 8 specifications from 18 inches to 21 inches. The product lineup will continue to expand in the future.
“ADVAN Sport EV” is an ultra-high-performance summer tire developed based on the high-performance tire “ADVAN Sport V107”, which meets the requirements of low energy consumption and quietness for new energy vehicles. The newly released “ADVAN Sport EV” integrates the technology accumulated by Yokohama in the tire development process, and has provided supporting tires for new energy models of world-renowned high-end auto brand manufacturers such as BMW and Mercedes-AMG.
In terms of low energy consumption, the rubber formula used in “ADVAN Sport EV” has been verified in the development of OE tires, which helps to reduce rolling resistance and increase cruising range. In addition, this tire also has outstanding wet performance, which can ensure safe driving on slippery roads. In terms of quietness, the word “SILENTFOAM” is marked on the sidewall of the “ADVAN Sport EV” tire, indicating that a layer of silent cotton “SILENTFOAM” using polyurethane foam technology is attached to the inner side of the tire, which can reduce the noise caused by uneven road surfaces during driving. cavity resonance, thereby reducing unpleasant noises and creating a quiet interior environment. “ADVAN Sport EV” adopts the tire pattern design of “ADVAN Sport” series, which has been well received in both the high-performance vehicle equipment tire market and the replacement tire market.

In the future, the “E+” logo will be marked on the sidewall of tires that meet the requirements of low energy consumption and quietness required by new energy vehicles.
