BASF announces top management changes

The Supervisory Board of BASF AG announces the following personnel changes:

Marcelo R. Lu (42 years old), currently Senior Vice President of BASF and Head of Care Chemicals Business Unit North America, will take over on February 1, 2024
He was appointed President of BASF in East Asia, South Asia, ASEAN and Australia and New Zealand on May 1, and his workplace is in Singapore. The current president of the department, Dr. Carola Richter (50 years old), decided to leave the company.

Lin Hanping (Haryono) is currently senior vice president of BASF, head of China’s new integrated site and general manager of BASF integrated site (Guangdong) Co., Ltd.
Lim, 50 years old), will serve as President of BASF Asia’s Large Projects from January 1, 2024. He will work in Zhanjiang, China.
