Solvay Specialty Polymers’ high-performance resins are used in new medical applications.

Ixef brand polyacrylamide (PARA), manufactured by Solvay Group, is used in a range of components of foot surgical fixation systems. The STAPiX system was developed by Houston-based medical device manufacturer Instratek.
