Recently, Nantong Xingchen Synthetic Materials Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Institute of Synthetic Materials jointly developed a light-diffusing polycarbonate (PC). This material is oriented to the field of LED lighting. It has the characteristics of high light transmittance, high haze, easy processing, light weight, etc., and has excellent surface appearance quality, high toughness, strong yellowing resistance and good flame retardancy. It is an ideal engineering plastic material in the field of LED lighting bulb lamps.
At present, the light-diffusing polycarbonate used for LED bulb lampshades has passed the small test and pilot test, and has been approved by a well-known downstream lighting customer as a sample, and has entered the stage of batch trial production and market promotion.
LED is a green and environmentally friendly light source, but its luminous characteristics are directional light, which is more dazzling. After the light-diffusing PC material is used to make the bulb lampshade, the light can be made uniform and soft, thereby significantly improving the LED lighting effect. Polycarbonate is a class of amorphous engineering plastics with excellent comprehensive properties. It has high transparency, excellent mechanical properties, high heat distortion temperature and inherent halogen-free flame retardant properties. After injection molding, the surface of the product is high-gloss, bright, and the appearance quality is outstanding. It is an ideal appearance material in the field of LED lighting; especially after the light-diffusing components are evenly dispersed, the product maintains the high light transmittance of polycarbonate itself. On the other hand , the light-diffusing component makes the incident light evenly scattered, so that the product has a higher haze, and the visual experience is softer and more comfortable.
