Summary of China’s PTMEG import and export data from January to October 2018

According to the statistics of Tiantian Chemical Network, the total import volume of PTMEG in China from January to October 2018 reached 54,244 tons, compared with last year. It is expected that the total import volume in 2018 will reach 65,000 tons; from January to October 2018, the total export volume of China’s PTMEG will reach 3,075 tons. It fell 40% last year, and the total export volume is expected to reach 3,500 tons in 2018. Among them, the decline in the export volume of PTMEG was mainly due to the low load of domestic installations.

(1) Imported noodles

According to statistical data, the main sources of my country’s PTMEG imports are Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan. Among them, the source of goods from Taiwan, China accounted for 77% of the total imports, South Korea and Japan accounted for 16% and 5% respectively.

According to statistics, the main importer of PTMEG in China is Xiamen Lilong Spandex Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Sihai Spandex Fiber Co., Ltd., Yantai Taihe New Materials Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Xue YongxingSpandex Ltd. and Lubrizol Specialty Chemicals Manufacturing Co. Ltd. Among them, Xiamen Lilong spandex and Zhejiang Sihai spandex Imports accounted for 17% of the total imports.

According to statistics, the main export destination of China’s PTMEG is Thailand, accounting for 87% of the total import volume. Other export regions are more scattered and smaller in volume.

According to statistics, the main exporter of PTMEG in China is Hangzhou Sanlong, accounting for 95.68% of the total export volume. At the same time, it is worth noting that the export volume of domestic production enterprises is significantly smaller than last year, and only Hangzhou Sanlong and Xinjiang Lanshan Tunhe have larger export volumes.
