South Korea is the largest and most important exporter of TDI products in the Asia-Pacific region. href=”/TDI/” target=_blank>TDIThe total export volume is about 64.7%. In 2018, South Korea’s total export of TDI was about 255,000 tons, a decrease of about 43,000 tons compared with last year. The commissioning of the BASF plant in Europe, and South Korea’s exports to the Middle East and Europe were blocked. However, if you leave last year aside, South Korea’s total export volume still maintains a slow upward trend. As far as the TDI flows in Korea, its TDI mainly It is still exported to Asian countries. This year, the total export to Asia is about 135,000 tons, accounting for about 48.6% of the total export volume, followed by the Americas, accounting for about 16.7% of the total export volume.

2. JapanTDIExport Analysis
After the shutdown of Mitsui Kashima’s TDI device, Japan is no longer the largest TDI exporting country, overtaken by South Korea and China. In 2018, Japan’s TDI export volume further decreased compared with 2017, and the total volume is estimated to be around 51,000 tons. Japan’s TDIThe focus of manufacturers’ supply is gradually shifting to domestic and self-use, the export intensity is getting smaller and smaller, and the export scope is gradually shrinking to Asia.
