List of newly-built and newly-commissioned projects in the BDO industry chain

2022Since the past year, the domestic BDO industry chain has newly built and put into production projects as follows (incomplete statistics):

11 In the middle of the month, Wuhai Inner Mongolia Dongjing Biological Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd.’s 280,000-ton 1,4-butanediol (BDO) project was put into trial operation. The project will start in May 2021. After the project is officially put into production, plus the manufacturer’s previous production capacity of 100,000 tons, it will reach a production capacity of 380,000 tons per year.

Fujian Baihong Chemical Co., Ltd. Baihong Chemical New Material Project—New 15 A total of 18 sets of devices including 10,000 tons/year BDO, 50,000 tons/year PBS device, 46,000 tons/year PTMEG device, and corresponding supporting storage, transportation and auxiliary facilities. It is expected to be put into operation by the end of 2024.

Maanshan Shengjie New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. 400,000 tons/year N-A The NMP project was put into production. The project started in December 2021, and until the commissioning ceremony was held on October 24, 2022, it took a total of 10 months to complete the construction and put into production.

CNOOC Ningbo Daxie Petrochemical Co., Ltd. plans to plan a set of 150,000 tons / n-butane oxidation to maleic anhydride plant. And support the construction of storage and transportation, public works and auxiliary facilities. The project has been approved by the group company to start construction on July 7, and is expected to be completed and put into production by the end of 2024.

Shandong Ruilun New Material Technology Co., Ltd. plans to establish a project in Dongming Engineering Plastics Industry, Heze City The park will build a project with an annual output of 100,000 tons of degradable plastics (including PBS, PBT, and PBAT products) and supporting facilities, storage and transportation facilities, safety and environmental protection facilities, etc. The main production devices are: 2 catalyst production workshops, 1 set of degradable plastic production device, 1 set of succinic anhydride butanediol co-production device.
