According to customs statistics, in the first quarter of 2023, the import and export volume of adipic acid in China both increased year-on-year, and the import volume increased by 17% year-on-year. Export volume rose 53% year-on-year.
Adipic acid import volume:
2023 From January to March, the import volume of adipic acid was 2020 tons, the total import value was 5.74 million US dollars, and the average price was 2840 US dollars / ton.
In terms of specific countries, in the first quarter, Germany surpassed South Korea to become the largest importer of adipic acid in China, with an import volume of 782 tons, compared with A sharp increase of 127% over the same period last year. South Korea followed closely, importing a total of 738 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 168 tons; Japan ranked third, importing 236 tons, about the same as in the first quarter of 2022.

Adipic acid export volume:
2023 In the first quarter of 2019, China exported 119,669 tons of adipic acid, with a total export value of 162.84 million US dollars and an average price of 1,360 US dollars per ton.
In terms of specific countries, Turkey is still the largest exporter, with a year-on-year increase of 57% to 17,947 tons; followed by India And Singapore, exports were 16,095 tons and 14,724 tons. Among the top 10 exporters of adipic acid in China, Italy and the Netherlands showed the strongest growth, up 254% and 111% year-on-year, with exports of 13,784 tons and 11,362 tons.
